A late flight does not necessarily mean a late room checkout. Before the final day of a Davos or Klosters stay, separate the accommodation timetable from your airport transfer. Decide where luggage will remain, how it will be retrieved and where the complete travelling party will meet the car at the confirmed pickup time.
Arrange storage with the property itself
Ask your hotel or host whether luggage storage is available, where it is located and when it can be accessed. Do not assume every apartment or small property offers it. If bags are stored at another address, include that collection in your transport planning. The airport car is not automatically booked to hold luggage during a final day of skiing, meetings or sightseeing. Any extended waiting or later collection is a separate requirement that must be discussed before relying on the vehicle as part of your day.
Leave time to retrieve and repack equipment
Collect skis, boots, pushchairs and bags from their various storage points before pickup. If wet or bulky equipment needs repacking, finish that before the chauffeur arrives. Check whether hired items must be returned to a shop and whether the return is at the same address as collection. A shop stop is not assumed to be part of the airport fare. Tell Airportcab about any additional luggage acquired during the stay, because the vehicle was assessed against the load described in the original request.
Choose a meeting point where the group will be ready
A group may finish the day in different places even when everyone slept at the same hotel. Decide whether all travellers will regroup at the accommodation or whether additional pickups are necessary. If using the hotel as the meeting point, tell everyone the exact entrance and readiness time. If collecting elsewhere, give each full address and obtain a revised route confirmation. Avoid asking the driver to search for guests across a resort while the airport schedule remains unchanged. One coordinator should account for both passengers and bags.
Protect the airport timetable
Provide the return flight number and any special baggage or assistance arrangements that affect the time needed at the airport. Agree the pickup with the transfer team and do not postpone it simply because checkout tasks took longer than expected. If circumstances change, contact Airportcab promptly to review the options. For a collection before 06:00, check the applicable return-night condition: 20 percent is added to the return fare only from 00:00 to 05:59 Europe/Zurich. Keep the final confirmation visible so the travel day follows one agreed plan.
Make a final bag count before leaving
Before the return journey begins, check the room, storage area and reception for items left separately. Count small bags as well as suitcases and equipment cases. If the group discovers a missing item after departure, contact the operator promptly; an unplanned return to the property must be reviewed against the airport schedule.
Questions about this journey
Can the car store our luggage while we ski?
Not as part of an ordinary airport transfer. Arrange property storage or request a separately agreed transport service.
Can we collect bags from another hotel?
Request that stop and its address before confirmation.
Should everyone be ready at the stated pickup time?
Yes. Complete luggage retrieval, checkout and key return beforehand unless the confirmed itinerary explicitly says otherwise.
