A Frauenkirch stay may be described by a guesthouse name, a road address or a host's local landmark. For the airport journey, combine those descriptions into one unambiguous destination. Give the full address and ask the host to explain the final approach, especially if the guest entrance is separate from an agricultural or private access.

Use the local name without losing the street detail

Davos Klosters tourism identifies Frauenkirch as a locality between Davos and Filisur. The transfer request should therefore say Frauenkirch when that is your destination, rather than using Davos as the entire address. If your accommodation is described in relation to a nearby attraction, keep that as orientation only. A church, walking route or restaurant may be easy to recognise without being your actual lodging. The building number and host's arrival instructions are what allow the endpoint to be checked before travel.

Ask which access is intended for guests

At any rural property, the obvious driveway on a map is not necessarily the right passenger entrance. Ask about gates, unloading, turning space and whether the owner wants to meet the vehicle at a specific place. Do not assume that a track visible online is open to general traffic. Share the host's advice before confirmation so the operator can discuss vehicle suitability. If luggage must be moved a short distance after unloading, explain who can help and whether any traveller has difficulty walking or managing steps.

Plan for outdoor equipment and practical clothing

A walking or riding holiday can generate unusual luggage alongside ordinary suitcases. Boots, helmets, large rucksacks and equipment cases should be counted rather than hidden within a general description such as three bags. Tell the team what needs space and which items must remain accessible. Keep a weather-appropriate outer layer near you for the handover. If you are taking children, provide their ages, heights and weights when requesting seats. Child seats cost CHF 15 each per booking and need to be included in the vehicle plan.

Make departure contact reliable

For the return journey, choose a lead passenger who can communicate from the property at the agreed pickup time. Save the confirmation and public contact number before leaving a place with reliable connectivity. Finish packing, key return and any accommodation inspection before collection. If another traveller is joining from a neighbouring address, send both locations and specify the order in advance. The request is reviewed against the complete itinerary, and the booking becomes confirmed only when availability, vehicle and fare are accepted in writing.

Tell the host what is arriving

Let the receiving host know the group size and whether substantial equipment needs unloading. The host can then advise where it should be brought and whether someone needs to meet the car. This is particularly useful when a private accommodation has limited space at its guest entrance or shares access with another building.

Questions about this journey

Can I send a landmark instead of an address?

Use the full lodging address; landmarks can support the instructions but should not replace them.

Can the car enter a private access track?

Only when access is lawful and suitable. Confirm the intended arrival point with the host and operator.

What equipment details are useful?

List every suitcase and larger item, including its approximate size and any special handling need.
